I am starting to have conversations and explore new opportunities this week. On my last day at Daasity, I underwent surgery and am happy to report that everything went great! The timing couldn't have been any better, as I have been able to focus 100% on returning to being me the last few weeks. I know Will Fisher and Tyler Grech will make me proud and do just that. So when we started discussing our long-term plans at the leadership level, I knew that the timing was right for me to step aside early and focus on getting better while allowing Daasity to keep pushing in the right direction. By mid-January, I was in so much pain that I had difficulty focusing on work and, more importantly, getting healthy. In early November, a back injury caught up with me and put me on bed rest except for a few days here and there. Over the last few months, we've all seen a shift in companies starting to focus on long-term sustainability, and while that's not much different in this situation, there is a little more to it. I wasn't sure how to share this or exactly what to say, but like many others in the tech and commerce space, I find myself searching for my next career opportunity. Today marks four weeks since my last day with Daasity. ![]()
